All About Us

Our Pet Store grew out of our love for all animals. We provide everything you need to keep the animal in your home happy and fashionable.

We understand the special bond between pets and their owners, and we want to encourage that kind of love in everyone.
Pet ownership is a rewarding responsibility, and with this in mind we continue to make sure that everyone who comes to us is well-educated and understands the obligations required to keep a happy and healthy pet in our blog.

Custom and personalized orders

I am happy to create custom orders for an additional fee, and extended processing time. You can have options of custom collars, bandanas, crate pads and more. Please message me directly for more details.

Sizing details

Most of our collars are adjustable, but it is recommended you buy a collar where your pet's exact measurement fall in the middle of the collar's adjustable size. We cannot guarantee fit if you do not measure your pet's neck accurately. A replacement may not be readily available if you select an incorrect size, and we cannot guarantee an exchange. If you'd like the best fit - please consider purchasing a custom collar!

Care instructions

All of our collars are made with utmost care and quality materials. Day to day wear can create scratches on hardware or stretch/fray the fabric, but proper care will improve the longevity of your collar. We recommend spot cleaning the collar, and using a secondary training collar for tough pullers. We do not guarantee against chewed collars. Our collars (with no glitter) can also be placed in a laundry mesh bag and washed on delicate in cold water 1-2 times a year. Do not use fabric softener or bleach. Please hang to dry. Do not put wet collars on a pet. For additional questions or concerns, please message me directly.

Metal Hardware

Yes, metal hardware is heavy. The smallest size (1/2") adds approximately 26 grams and the largest (1.5") is 166 grams. Our metal hardware is supplied by a saddlery company. It has been graded for breaking loads, typically 200kg of force. If you find your buckle is popping open, we advise placing a drop of machine oil lubricant on the male end. Because our hardware is so heavy-duty, the spring mechanism inside can be stiff. The drop of oil will loosen up the spring, and it should now open and close properly. We do not advise wearing metal side-release buckles in salt water.

Gift wrapping and packaging

We take care to ensure our collars arrive safely and unblemished. Metal collars typically have a cling film to prevent scratching. They are then placed inside our branded label, and packaged with padded envelopes. We wish to provide quality product upon receipt, and strive for safe shipping for our collars. We balance this we as much recyclable material, or already recycled packaging as we can. You can request gift wrapping on our Etsy shop only, for an additional fee.

Privacy & Safety

Our shop will always aim to provide a positive personal experience, however we respect our client's privacy and safety. We do not provide your details to anyone, and use a third-party banking system for all sales. We do not retain or distribute any private information.
Our newsletter and contact is completely voluntary, and must be initiated by you. If you wish to cancel your subscription, you may do so at any time.

If you feel there is ever a problem, please do not hesitate to let us know so we may fix it immediately.

Shipping Policy

Shipping & Processing time

The time I need to create your bespoke order varies. For details, see individual items.

Customs and import taxes

Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. I'm not responsible for delays due to customs.

Shipping Delays

Post office delays, holidays, and incorrect address at check-out can further delay your product's arrival. We do not take responsibility for these events. 

Tracking Packages

All parcels are shipped with a tracking number via USPS. Please give us 24-48 hours from notification of the shipment to have your parcel in the hands of our local postie. Purchasing a shipping upgrade does not shorten our production time.

Reshipment

If your item needs resent to you, you will be responsible for the additional shipping cost. To avoid this situation, please ensure your address is correct at check out, and that you are available to receive your package's delivery. If you miss a delivery, please rearrange a delivery with your post office immediately, or you may be responsible to pay for reshipment if your item is returned to me.

Lost Packages

Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete shipping address during checkout.
We follow USPS's policies for lost packages, which means we require 15 working days domestic and 25 working days international before we will submit a claim. We do not guarantee delivery dates. If your package is lost, we will submit the claim.
If your package shows delivered, however, you will need to file the police report for a stolen package and place the claim with your post office. Once a package has been shown as delivered, we will unfortunately be unable to assist. It will be the customer's responsibility to file an insurance claim with the post office.

Return Policy

I gladly accept returns and exchanges on non-custom items

Contact me within: 14 days of delivery

Ship items back within: 14 days of your message of intent to return

I don't accept cancellations

But please contact me if you have any problems with your order.

Customer Responsibility

You must obtain a proof of posting, and use sufficient postage and packaging.
We will inspect returns/exchanges and providing it’s in the same state it was sent to you, we will issue a refund minus the original P&P cost. If there are any problems we will contact you and arrange return at your cost or disposal. We are not liable for returned products being lost or damaged in post. The customer is responsible for ensuring the address, postage and packaging is sufficient to safely return a product.

Conditions of return

Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs.

If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.
